How long does resume writing process?

The average turnaround time for delivery on your initial resume / career document drafts is between eight to ten business days following the strategy/consultation session and receipt of all other supporting documents and assessments. Work does not begin on projects until payments have been made.

In the event that your resume / career documents require more time for completion, you will be notified by email about the expected delivery date. You are allowed one major revision with each document and you have 30 days to submit changes before the documents are consider final.

Final documents are emailed in Word (for PC), ASCII (text) and PDF.


Who actually writes my executive resume?

All resumes and career marketing documents are prepared by Abby Locke, Master Resume Writer, Nationally Certified Resume Writer, and Academy Certified Resume Writer. Projects are never outsourced and you will be in constant communication with Abby through out the writing process.

All resume services include a comprehensive strategy and information-gathering session with Abby Locke. You will have the opportunity to clearly explain your career background, job situation, unique employment challenges and any other issues that would impact the final documents.

Once the resume and career documents are complete, you will have the option of getting individual or group coaching sessions with Abby Locke on job search and career acceleration for additional fees.

Do I need to submit written answers through a questionnaire?

In addition to your pre-consultation questionnaire, Abby Locke spends a minimum of 1.5 hours with you during your phone strategy session, she will review the information given and prepare additional questions (if needed) that will allow you more time to research quantifiable facts and really reflect on personal strengths.

Clients have appreciated the extra time to think critically about their career situation and long-term career goals. Remember when working with Abby, you walk away with some much more than the physical resume!


What is the cancellation or refund policy?

Due to the highly personalized and customized nature of resume and career document preparation, once the writing process has started and initial drafts have been released there is no refund.

However, we are very sensitive to client needs and understand that unforeseen circumstances can come up and will work with clients on case-by-case basis.

We are happy to provide a pro-rated refunds if you need to cancel the resume AFTER the strategy sessions and BEFORE the rough drafts are emailed to you. 


Can I pay for the service through installments?

The unique nature of our services require full payment in advance, but we can arrange for you to break up the total fee (for services in excess of $995) in two to three payments providing that you use a credit card and can clearly demonstrate that there are sufficient funds to cover the service.

If you choose this method of payment, there is a $35 additional processing fee and all payments must be processed and cleared before drafts are released to clients.
